Triumph |
Bathtub |
SOLD |
It almost goes without saying that all Triumphs are icons but no other model created
as much fuss as the "Bathtub". Mr. Edward Turner recognized the need for a model that bridged
the gap between 2 and 4 wheels. On paper one hell of a good idea, in fact a brave move. Although well
received in the old world American dealers and motorcyclists had mixed feelings about these bikes and the
"Tins" were frequently removed and substituted with regular fenders and headlight buckets which means
that a complete, original, bathtub Triumph is a pretty rare commodity these days. This bike is
exactly that! Motor recently gone thru and bearings rings etc. replaced but no more or less than
necessary. |
